Why do you need an inspection ?
A home inspection gives you a professional and objective opinion of the home you are about to buy.

A qualified home inspector can tell you if the house will live up to your expectations in the years to come.

A professional home inspector will show you the strengths and weaknesses of the home. You are encouraged to attend the inspection and ask any questions you need to have answered.

A house inspection rarely ends up with the client not wanting the house, but it does provide the information you need to help close the deal and move with confidence.

A professional home inspection will help reduce the risks of unforeseen repairs and costs.

How do you choose a home inspector? Ask the following......

1) What are your qualifications?
2) How long have your been in the Inspection Business?
3) Can you give me references?
4) Show me your report format.
5) What professional associations are you a member of?

We are aware how complex it is to build a home today compared to 10 or 20 years ago and also the consumer is more knowledgeable. The consumer is aware of quality and workmanship and he is realizing that municipal building inspectors are not there to judge quality only completion of work.

With so many subcontractors involved in the building process, and with so many crewmembers working for them, quality can easily be ignored, corners cut, or something simply overlooked.

In some of our recent inspections we have discovered no insulation over two thirds of a home, no external grounding on a pool pump, no pump or motor installed on a whirlpool tub, and a garbage disposal not wired. These are a few of the many items that have occurred in homes built by outstanding builders with strict standards.
